Weaving Communities Together: Teixint Barri Project Fosters Social Healing and Empowers Cultural Diversity

The Teixint Barri project is for people in El Tacó and l'Armanyà, neighborhoods with a lot of cultural diversity (North and South Africa). People with fragmented, disordered social reality and a vital narrative shaped by the experience of migration, resulting in socio-relational and emotional problems.

Teixint Barri was created to generate a space between the two neighborhoods. A space where what is broken can be woven, a space to enable the construction of a new narrative in which what they bring with them is valued, while at the same time making it easier to be able to incorporate and be incorporated into the healthy parts of the new reality.
